# Tutorial

### Refuel gas on another network

1. Open [WheelX Gas](https://wheelx.fi/gas/) and connect the wallet you want to use for the source funds.
2. Search the destination network in Mainnets.exe and select it. Check the Gas Token column for the asset you will receive.
3. In Bridge.exe, choose From Chain and a source token from the available options.
4. Enter the amount in USD. Use the current interface and quote for minimum and maximum amounts rather than a fixed amount from an older example.
5. Verify the destination address in Send.exe, including its network and address format. Review the displayed Send and Receive amounts and any quoted fees.
6. Select SEND only after reviewing the details, then approve any required wallet transaction.
7. Track completion and check the destination wallet or block explorer for the gas-token balance.

Refueling transfers assets to obtain gas tokens. It is not a testnet faucet or an automatic fee waiver. Available networks, source tokens and routes depend on the current interface and quote.

Step-by-step guide to using WheelX for cross-chain transactions.

Receiving native Bitcoin

1. Connect the wallet holding your source asset and select the source chain, token and amount.
2. Choose Bitcoin as the destination network and native BTC as the receiving asset. Do not confuse native BTC with a wrapped BTC token on another chain.
3. Connect a supported Bitcoin wallet separately and verify the recipient address. The official walkthrough uses UniSat as an example; use the options shown in the current interface.
4. Review the route, estimated output, minimum received, fees and estimated completion time.
5. Approve and sign the required source-chain transaction in your wallet.
6. Track the order and verify native BTC arrives in the intended Bitcoin wallet.

### Language and same-chain selection

Use the Language menu in the WheelX application to select a supported interface language. Documentation and embedded integrations may have separate language support.

For an intra-chain swap, choose “Same Chain as From” for the destination network, then select the destination token. Review the quote and sign the transaction as usual.

### Prerequisites

* A Web3 wallet (MetaMask, OKX Wallet, etc.)
* Tokens on at least one supported chain
* Enough native tokens for gas fees

### Basic Cross-Chain Swap

1. Connect your wallet to [wheelx.fi](https://wheelx.fi)
2. Select source chain and token
3. Select destination chain and token
4. Enter the amount to swap
5. Review the quote and confirm
6. Wait for transaction confirmation

### Advanced Operations

* **Multi-hop**: Route through intermediate chains for better rates
* **Batch operations**: Execute multiple swaps in sequence
